Mikelle Lenahan - just released her debut CD on iTunes. Listen Now! She also performs as a Principal Female Singer in the Worldwide Production of “Dancing Queen.” The show is a Spirit Production presentation based in London, England and Mikelle’s first performance will be presented in Canada in March. Dancing Queen carries a cast of 32 dancers, 4 vocalists and features music on the Disco era. Mikelle will be performing as a Principal Vocalist in a number of these Production Shows throughout the year as she takes yet another step towards her goal of becoming a complete Entertainer and Recording Artist. www.mikellemusic.com
Zarna Surti – is an alumni coming back to sing with Cindy at the recital with a song they wrote together with their good friend Robbie Phillips! She is a vocalist experienced in many styles including Jazz, Contemporary Indian Styles, R&B, Blues and Funk. Recently, Zarna toured South America with Latin Pop Star, Ricardo Montaner where she had the opportunity to perform for crowds ranging from ten to twenty thousand. She traveled extensively in countries such as Argentina, Bolivia, Uruguay and Paraguay. Zarna just completed her Bachelor of Music degree in Studio Music and Jazz (Vocal Emphasis) at the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music. Currently, Zarna returned to Nashville to record an album with a local Grammy-award winning producer and will be releasing her debut album later this year. As someone who has known Cindy Overfield since she was 5 years old, she says “she is honored to be back sharing the stage this year with some of her favorite musicians!” Thanks Zarna, for sure right back at ya!
Jackson Nance – 10 year old Jackson started singing when he was 8 and has already experienced tremendous success. Jackson signed with Shirley Grant Management out of New York, the same manager that first signed the Jonas Brothers. He not only sings, but acts and models. Jordan Yates – Jordan is signed with WORD Records and is in the Christian Pop group purNRG. He stayed busy this year traveling and doing shows around the country. He has been a part of the group since he was 10 and now at 17 they will be releasing their 5th and final CD in July. After December when the group wraps up, Jordan will enjoy taking some time off and writing songs and playing with his band mates and developing a new style of his own! You will hear Jordan perform his original music at the recital!
Riley Jackson – Just released a CD on iTunes. Listen Now! Riley is a 16 year old junior at CCHS in Manchester, TN, where she is very involved in the Show Choir, Yearbook Staff, FCA, & the Dance Team Captain. Riley has won Battle of the Bands 2 years in a row & she can also be heard at numerous ballgames singing the National Anthem. Riley has been very busy this past year co-writing & recording 8 original songs for her first CD, which can be downloaded from ITunes! Riley is very excited about this opportunity & knows it’s all in God’s hands.
Makenzie Fitzhugh – competitive gymnast as well as an accomplished singer is also becoming a skilled pianist.
Dylan Fitch – extremely talented guitarist, songwriter and singer now in his 2nd year at Belmont University majoring in songwriting. He performs live with many bands of all styles and records at Ocean Way studios and RCA studios.
Lauren Castor – just keeps getting better and better at her singing. Performed this year in the Middle Tennessee Honor Choir and performed in Pirates of Penzance at Sunset Middle School.. She is a member of the Sunset Middle School Choir and performed at the Broken Wheel Festival in Nolensville this year.
Mitchell Reed – This is Mitchell’s first year in singing lessons and he has already been in 5 plays this year! Whoa – what an overachiever for a 3rd grader. He informed me that he had the lead role in “Dancing Spiders” 104 lines and 6 songs.
Sarah Harris – This is Sarah’s 2nd year with Cindy. This summer she performed in the Wilson County Fair and then The Broken Wheel Festival this Fall..
Danielle Rains – Made the top 12 in the Music City Invitational in acting and singing this Spring! Congrats!! This is her 1st year with me and has really worked hard.
Macey Crow – Macey performed a solo in her school choir and was in the play “Alladin.” She was also accepted into honors choir. This will be her first recital and I know you’re going to enjoy her!
Gray Taylor – This is Gray’s 3rd recital; he’s our little showman! Gray is in the St. Paul Singers and is the star of his annual talent show at school.
Lauren Leath – This is Lauren’s junior year in high school. She is very involved in school and theatre. She has played the lead in “The Sound of Music” and various other plays. She performed in the Ms. RHS pageant and her school talent show.
Clare Webb – Clare is a news anchor for her school and participates in choir. She made the football/basketball cheerleading squad at Sunset Middle. Clare is currently pictured in an ad in Parent/Life Magazine.
Grace Webb – Grace sings in all school programs. She enjoys acting, singing, dancing and tumbling. She is performing in Beauty and the Beast at TPAC this June!
Hannah Williams – Hannah rocked the Sunset Elementary school talent show this year; she is my marketing tool at Sunset! As soon as someone hears her sing I get calls for singing lessons! Thanks Hannah! She also had acting roles this year in “Dear Edwina,” “Cinderella,” and “Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.”
JoAnna Corbin – JoAnna completed 8th grade this year adding several high school credits to her transcript. Wow! Smarty! She also performed “At Last” by Etta James at a wedding for the couples’ first dance. AWWW! She added guitar and piano to her extra-curricular activities.
Corey Fisher – is a freshman in high school and started his rock band about a year ago. Since then the band has written many original songs. You will hear one of them at the recital! They recorded their first demo this year on Music Row. Their goal is to play live as much as possible right now and get better and better!
Mackenzie Craig – This is Mackenzie’s 2nd recital with Cindy. She performed at the Broken Wheel Festival this Fall and her school talent show, and is an avid soccer player!
Allison Marcrom – Allison has had a very busy junior year! She is on the Dance Team, The Center Stage Singers, performed in “Seussical” as ‘Gertrude’ and was ‘Belle’ in Beauty and the Beast. We will enjoy one of the songs from “Beauty and the Beast” performed by Allison at the recital!
Lance Howard – is a senior in high school. He leads youth worship at Forest Mills COC. He is playing the Prince, and several other characters in “Beauty and the Beast” this Spring and auditioning for High School Musical 2 this summer. He is attending UT Knoxville this Fall and is majoring in theatre.
Kayetlyn Jones – Kayetlyn is very involved in acting, singing and dance. She performed in “Spoon River Anthologies” and “Into the Woods” as Jack’s Mother this year.
Clint Hutchison – Clint is a multi-talented musician. He writes, sings, plays violin, guitar and piano. He is a Freshman at Vol State this year and plans to go to EMT school in the Fall.
